MC44C402AC Overview
This encoder is embedded inside a 32-LQFP package.Packing the encoder in a Tray case is recommended to ensure that it is protected.I have mounted this motor encoder in the way of the Surface Mount axis.There are two types of Audio Encoder types that can be identified.There is no problem with connecting the encoder in Set-Top Boxes, Video Players, Recorders as it is suitable for it.This motor encoder is motor encoder of the MC44C402 family and is based on that.When switching power supplies are used, the digital power of the 1.62V~1.98V component of the optical encoder is applied.In the optical encoder there are 32 terminations that are available.It is possible to apply an analog supply voltage by using 2.97V~3.63V.Ideally, 1.62V should be higher than the required minimum supply voltage.There is a maximum supply voltage (Vsup) of a encoder motor where 1.98V is reached.This encoder is designed to operate under the operating temperature of 85°C, which is very important to keep in mind when using this encoder.A minimum operating temperature of -40°C is specified for the quadrature encode, which is its design temperature.
