The rail-to-rail input and output capability of the TLV2371 single-supply operational amplifier are provided. The TLV237x reduces the minimum operating supply voltage over the extended industrial temperature range to 2.7 V while adding a rail-to-rail output swing. The TLV2371 also offers 3-MHz bandwidth from 550 A. The maximum recommended supply voltage is 16 V, allowing the devices to be powered by a wide range of rechargeable cells (from 8 V to 1.35 V).
The CMOS inputs allow for use in high-impedance sensor interfaces, and the lower voltage operation makes the TLC227x an ideal choice for battery-powered applications. The rail-to-rail input stage expands its versatility even further. The TLV237x is the seventh member of TI's rapidly expanding line of RRIO products, and it is the first to support up to 16-V rails with good ac performance.
